Am I first? Wow!
Phil, from New York. Been smoking cigars for about twenty years which started when I would fire up a nice cigar as soon as I stepped ashore after being out to sea (US Navy, Submarine Service). Back then you could smoke where ever you wanted.

Up until recently I would list any Fuente as my favorite but since I tried a La Gloria Cubana Series R, that has topped my list. Ask me next week and it might change.

A good show topic would be stratigies on economical ways to stock humidors. Although any discussion about cigars is just fine with me.

Favorite sticks for me:

NCs: Padron, Gurkha, Tatuaje
Cuba: Montecristo, Trinidad, Cohiba, Romeo y Julieta (hell why am I listing this I like em all!) LOL

I'm fairly new to cigars; been smoking them for about 3-5 years, and my interest and participation has grown exponentially each year. My favorites so far are Dominicans (in general), Punch and Romeo y Julieta, although I should point out that's only because I'm still learning and and trying other brands.

I tried a CAO Italia the other day at the urging of my local cigar shop and really enjoyed it. Not a long smoke, but very good and enjoyable.

I wanted to thank you for mentioning me in one of your recent podcasts -- afterward I realized I didn't have a decent picture in my profile so I've changed it to be more cigar-appropriate.

What I'd like to see in your podcasts: just knowledge in general for the newbie. I'm not sure I really have to mention that, since I learn so much during every podcast, but that's what really makes it great for me. I take the knowledge I've gotten from the podcast straight to the cigar store with an idea of what to buy. I also pass the knowledge along to a fellow cigar-smoking friend.

Keep up the good work gentlemen!

My name is Mark Bresky, I've been smoking for about 10 years now. I started out smoking Macanudos and other mild cigars. Now because I have a great job (tractor trailer driver UPS) I have graduated two full bodied sticks a day. I really love La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero, Series R La Gloria and Comacho, which I'm smoking now. One of my new favorites is Fuente Don Carlos.

I live in LaGrange, Ohio and don't have the winter problems that Josh and Erik have. I smoke in my house.

I really enjoyed the info in the last podcast on Litto Gomez. He's my favorite. My local tobacconist, Cousins Cigar, is having a hard time getting more La Flor. I wonder if La Flor and Litto are no more and Litto is going to have his own brand?

Whats up Eric and Josh.
This is New Hampshire Dave again, hope you enjoyed my Hoyo video.
I've been smoking cigars for a little over a year now, I also smoke a hookah. No real favorite I think, I pretty much buy what ever I feel like buying at the time. But I do smoke a lot of Excalibur 1066 and La Gloria. I was also a big Diablo fan until they pulled the plug on that.
Great show

Alright! Cigars....

A lot of mention I see for the La Gloria (R) series. If you must smoke one, go with the R6 Maduro. This monster packs the best flavor and aroma.

Best value: Padron 2000 This one is medium bodied, and easy on the wallet. A bargain find for "careless" smokes; golfing, parties, events, etc.

If your goal is to sit down and really enjoy a full bodied, multiple taste, premium cigar.....you do not HAVE to go Cuban. The Padron Anniversary Series of most any year is just plain and simply one of the best!

If you can get the Cubans, well do just that! Montecristo? ohhh ho ho hoh - yeah baby. King Daddy of the Premiums.

Something out of the ordinary? For a flavor splash that you will either love or hate....try an ACID Kuba Kuba

Of course, do not forget the OPUS X 2006, and the Rocky Patell Vintage 1990 and 1992.

Being that I could go on forever, I'll just stop there. I really have the fire under my belly to go fire up a cirar on the deck RIGHT NOW! Talk is cheap, the smoke is good.

Anyone looking to yack it up about cigars, go to my site- www.speedcathollydale.blogspot.com and leave a comment. No, it's not a cigar blog, but it may turn into one after reading this page. :-)

Going to Smoke, Speedcat Hollydale

Hello fellow brothers of the leaf. My name is John, 40, and I am from Central City, Iowa. I started out smoking a pipe about 7 years ago (corn cob pipes no less) and have slowly worked into cigars over the last 5 years. I find it to be a great hobby and I look forward to my daily "John Time" in the Barcalounger with a brandy and a cigar. (Those of you who remember THE MAN SHOW will know what a Barcalounger is). If I had to pick just one cigar before going to the gallows, it would probably be the ASHTON VSG. My value pick would be the 5 Vegas Classic torpedo.

Hi Guys! I'm still listening to and really enjoying the podcasts! By the way, let me know if you guys are up for another care package. My stock is overflowing. I got into cigars when I was in college, but never really seriously embraced the lifestyle until my son was born 6 years ago. I've been going strong ever since. To me, cigars are a bond between people and a symbol of camraderie, brotherhood, celebration, achievement, and forced "time to pause." Cigars heighten every situation and experience. They fascinate me. My taste in cigars is very diverse, but I keep coming back to a few reliable brands: Arturo Fuente Don Carlos #3, Perdomo Champagne X and E, Padron Anniversary Exclusivo Maduro, Padron 3000 Maduro, Rocky Patel Vintage 1990. There are way too many good cigars on the market right now. Most importantly, smoke what YOU like...not what others like. Keep up the great work guys!!!
