The Cigar Nation: Episode 31 being recorded tonight

Sorry to be the barer of bad news, but episode 31 is lost. I ran into some technical difficulties while recording and it was erased from my hard drive. I learned that every time I record, the program saves the data in two areas. There is the recording project data (the place were you manipulate the sounds…i.e. volume, effects, and other mixing tools) and there is a back up file that holds the actual audio data (the wave file itself.) There was a glitch in the project, so I had to delete it. Since we still had the hard copy of the audio data in a cache folder, I saw no problems with this. However, much to my disappointment, if you delete the project, you also delete the audio data. Needless to say, the episode is lost.

It’s really too bad because this was a great episode. We gave C.A.O. fantastic reviews, and Cigar-boy smoked a Macanudo!! We’ll try it again next week, and I’m sure it will work.

Just wanted to apologize for the delay, and we will come back next week and rock your socks off!
