Sorry for the lack of new podcasts...

we are in the process of transitioning to a new ISP, with a brand new website and as always its taking weeks instead of days... so be patient. We've got episodes edited and ready to go, so it shouldn't be too long.

Hello, hello, hello... sorry Erik.
I am a fairly new smoker, and generally only fire up once or twice per month. I am listening to the previous podcasts and am almost caught up; right now I am listening to the Tequila Episode. I think your podcast is great. I actually enjoy it more than longer, bigger podcasts like Dogwatch and Blowin' Smoke. (Part of this may be due to sharing the pain of living in the same Communist state as you guys). Regardless, I think the podcast is great.
I recently had a Cusano MC, of their Celebrity Series. These are supposed to emulate other brands, and the MC is a Monte Cristo copy. I have never had a Monte Cristo, but I thought the MC robusto was a good smoke. Nice draw, decent burn, lots of smoke. I paid 3.89 for it at G.W. Coffee and Tobacco in St. Cloud, MN. I am wondering if you have tried the Celebrity Series, and what you thought of it. I am next going to try the CC, a Cohiba copy.
Till next time...

Okay, I am all caught up now, so I feel SLIGHTLY more entitled to start bitching about the lack of new podcasts... so here goes...
WTF!?!
That's it, I don't want to push too many buttons.
I have an idea for the show. When I got a little more into smoking, I wasn't sure where to get my cigars, as Habib at the closest tobacco shop isn't quite what I would call a "toaccanist", if you know what I mean. (He couldn't pronounce Xikar, let alone any cigar names). Through some internet searching, I found G.W. Coffee and Tobacco in St. Cloud where Marylin (not sure about spelling) was very helpful and knowledgable. This brings me to my idea for the show:
Do a feature in which you give a detailed profile of a cigar shop in MN, WI, or wherever. I think that some new smokers (or even pros) would benefit from getting some information about sotres near them that might be worth a look. Details could include size of humidor, whether they have a lounge, approx. price range of sticks, etc. You could do phone interviews of shop owners on air, and give out phone numbers for your listeners.
Other than G.W., Stogies (which I have not had the privelage of visiting), Golden Leaf, and St. Croix Cigar Co., I know of no real cigar shops.
What do you think?
I look forward to the next podcast.
Rich

Josh & Erik,

Just finished episode 36 and I need more. Guys talking about cigars and stuff, how perfect is that.

I cannot believe the prices ya'll pay for cigars. Down here in TEXAS the prices are about half price. In Houston, I also have my choice of five different cigar shops and thats just on the north side of town.

Send me an address to send some cheap cigars to because I feel bad for you guys.

You guys like CAO and Thompson right?

Paul, you are absolutley killing me! I was just in Houston (on the North side) for a 2-day business trip and was too busy to get out and look for a good cigar shop. Now you tell me that not only are there 5 good shops in that area, but that the cigars are half the price of here in Communesota!?!
Oh, the humanity! I see the light... Grandma?... Is that you?...
